We've sold this inexpensive professional medical tool in our store for more than a decade. 

It's made for Third World doctors, and can grab onto an aorta like a cough drop on a cat's back.  To be honest however, we don't think it's purchased for surgical reasons.  Most end up in a handyman's toolbox, because of its envied grab-hold power. 

That said, it wouldn't hurt to learn to use them in the medical context, in case health care reform doesn't pass...or worse...passes, but doesn't work!  Stainless steel. 5.5" Long
