Do you remember these strong and stout mugs from the Victory at Sea television show? I sure do! I grew up with Victory at Sea in the 50's...the naval saga of WWII.

The battle films told the story...and the only "stars" on the show were in the sky. When it was possible to rest, the crews would gather in the ship's mess for fellowship. They also came to re-hash their strategies for winning a war, and staying on top of a very black ocean.

These men, real men, drank gallons of coffee...out of mugs like these.
