Our temperatures swing over hundred degrees through the Vermont seasons.  It's a breath-taking place to live, but hard as hell on hands and feet.  Ask an islander to show you his hands in mid-February, and you will witness pain itself!  Cracked palms, fingers, toes, elbows...it's not pretty.
