Nepalese Wool Toque
If you needed a really warm cap and had the option of choosing wool that came from the Golden Hills of California, or half-way up the side of Mt. Everest, which would you choose?
Your Honor...We rest our case!!
If you dream of climbing the world's highest mountain, just remember that the odds are 1 in 10 you won't be coming home. This danger and the bone-chattering cold has not been lost on the folks who live near the summit.
Our toques are knitted by hand in Kathmandu, just a short breath away from the summit of Mt. Everest. The artisans use exceptionally dense wool, supplied by their four-legged mountain friends. These friends also supply socks, mitts and handbags from the same native organization.
The hats are knitted by independent thinkers, to say the least, colors may vary!
One size fits all. Fleece lined for extra wind protection and no itching. No two exactly alike. Can be dry-cleaned, or washed in cold water. Dry flat.
